FOR THE TIMES WHEN LIFE FEELS A LITTLE TOO MUCH
Stress is a natural part of life. But sometimes, the demands placed on us begin to outweigh the time, energy and resources we have available.
Perhaps you're navigating a particularly demanding period at work, finding it difficult to switch off, or feeling like there's very little space left for yourself.
Or perhaps you've been pushing through for so long that feeling exhausted has become your normal.
At Redefined State, I offer personalised naturopathic support for stress, overwhelm and burnout in Melbourne and online across Australia.
Whatever your experience, there's value in taking the time to understand what's happening and what support is right for you.
SUPPORT FOR DIFFERENT SEASONS OF LIFE
Sometimes stress is temporary. Other times, it's something we've been carrying for months or even years.
SHORT-TERM STRESS & OVERWHELM
Perhaps you're navigating a particularly busy period, a significant life change or a temporary increase in responsibilities.
You may be interested in exploring practical ways to support your wellbeing during this time, without committing to an extensive consultation process.
Depending on your health history and individual circumstances, we may consider nutritional, lifestyle or herbal medicine options where appropriate.
ONGOING STRESS & BURNOUT
Longer periods of stress can affect many aspects of daily life, including sleep, energy, concentration and emotional wellbeing.
If you've been experiencing persistent exhaustion or struggling to feel like yourself, a more comprehensive consultation may be appropriate.
Together, we can explore your health history, current concerns and relevant contributing factors, while recognising that burnout and persistent fatigue may also require assessment or support from other healthcare professionals.
LOOKING AT THE BIGGER PICTURE
Stress doesn’t exist in isolation. Our sleep, nutrition, physical health, environment and everyday responsibilities can all influence how we experience and respond to stress.
When addressing stress, we explore:
-
Your sleep patterns, quality of rest and any factors that may be influencing your ability to switch off.
-
Your eating patterns, nutritional needs and the practical challenges that can arise when life feels demanding.
-
Your experience of tiredness, changes in energy and whether further investigation may be appropriate.
-
The demands you're navigating and what realistic, sustainable support might look like within your circumstances.
Whether you're navigating a particularly demanding period or have been feeling overwhelmed for some time.

SUPPORTING STRESS SHOULDN’T BE STRESSFUL
I know from personal experience that feeling overwhelmed isn't always something we can resolve by adding another wellness routine to an already full schedule.
Sometimes, the expectation to do more for our health becomes another source of pressure.
My approach is centred around understanding your circumstances, respecting your available capacity and exploring recommendations that feel realistic for you.
This may include nutrition education, lifestyle considerations and, where clinically appropriate, herbal medicine.
Naturopathic care can complement support from your GP, psychologist or other healthcare professionals. It isn't a replacement for medical or psychological care when that's needed.
