We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. However, no data transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted via our website.
Health records are retained for a minimum of 7 years from the date of last consultation, or until a minor client reaches 25 years of age, in accordance with Victorian health records legislation.
8. Telehealth Consultations
Telehealth consultations are conducted via Zoom. We recommend you join from a private space to protect your own confidentiality. Consultations are not recorded without your prior written consent.
9. Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:
• Access the personal and health information we hold about you
• Request corrections to information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date
• Request that we not use your information for purposes beyond your direct care
