FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO YOU/WILL YOU WORK WITH MY GP/SPECIALIST?
At Redefined State, we always have your best interests at heart. That means we openly collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure our clients are receiving the most comprehensive and timely care that helps them heal.
Whilst many clients choose Naturopathy as their primary healthcare, collaborative care is always available and will be actioned where appropriate.
Clients can request for us to liaise with their GP or specialist to share findings, coordinate testing, or ensure continuity of care.
Equally, where a case falls outside the scope of naturopathic practice or further investigation through conventional medicine is clearly in the client's best interest, a referral will be made.
WHAT’S EXPECTED OF ME DURING MY NATUROPATHY TREATMENT?
Naturopathic care is collaborative. Our job is to investigate, interpret, and guide, but your experience of your own body is data we can't access without you.
The clients who get the most out of this process tend to share a few things in common. They:
implement changes as consistently as their life allows. Not perfectly, but persistently.
communicate honestly about what's working, what isn't, and what feels realistic to maintain. That feedback is what allows us to refine your plan rather than just repeat it.
You don't need to arrive with anything figured out. You just need to be genuinely ready to engage with the process.
Occasionally we may recommend functional testing to get clearer answers. We'll always explain why, and nothing is obligatory.
HOW MANY CONSULTS WILL I NEED TO FEEL BETTER?
It's an important question to ask and it deserves an honest answer.
There's no universal timeline. How quickly you respond to treatment depends on how long you've been unwell, the complexity of what's driving your symptoms, how much capacity your body currently has to heal, and how consistently you're able to implement changes.
What we can tell you is this: most people notice meaningful shifts within the first 4–8 weeks including clearer patterns, more energy, or symptoms that feel more manageable. For complex or long-standing conditions, real change typically unfolds over 3–6 months or longer.
We're not the right fit if you're looking for a quick fix. We are the right fit if you're ready to understand what's actually going on and build health that holds.
