Frequently Asked Questions
What's involved in a consultation?
Here's how working with us looks from the first point of contact.
Initial consultation
We take a thorough health history covering your symptoms, health history, health goals, lifestyle, diet, and anything in between that helps us create your health picture. We define a clear direction forward to support your healing.
Personalised treatment plan
Based on your consultation, we develop a plan built around your specific presentation which may include targeted supplementation, dietary and lifestyle recommendations, and functional testing where appropriate. Nothing generic. Nothing that doesn't make sense for you.
Ongoing support and review
Healing isn't always linear. We check in regularly via follow-up consults to review your progress, adjust your plan as you respond, and make sure you're supported at every stage — not just at the start. We also offer a complimentary check-in if you need extra support in-between your initial and first follow-up.
What's expected of me during naturopathic care?
Naturopathic care is collaborative. Our job is to investigate, interpret, and guide — but your experience of your own body is data we can't access without you.
The clients who get the most out of this process tend to share a few things in common. They implement changes as consistently as their life allows — not perfectly, but persistently. And they communicate honestly about what's working, what isn't, and what feels realistic to maintain. That feedback is what allows us to refine your plan rather than just repeat it.
You don't need to arrive with everything figured out. You don't need to be already eating well or living a low-stress life. You just need to be genuinely ready to engage with the process.
Occasionally we may recommend functional testing to get clearer answers — we'll always explain why, and nothing is obligatory.
How many consults will I need to feel better?
It's an important question to ask and it deserves an honest answer.
There's no universal timeline. How quickly you respond to treatment depends on how long you've been unwell, the complexity of what's driving your symptoms, how much capacity your body currently has to heal, and how consistently you're able to implement changes.
What we can tell you is this: most people notice meaningful shifts within the first 6–12 weeks including clearer patterns, more energy, or symptoms that feel more manageable. For complex or long-standing conditions, real change typically unfolds over 3–6 months or longer.
We're not the right fit if you're looking for a quick fix. We are the right fit if you're ready to understand what's actually going on and build health that holds.
